Well, just getting ready to go to bed. Have to get up at 0400 to get to the hospital. I have bribed the ICU nurses, I got my hook-up on the unit, I have home-made cookies I'm bringing to the OR nurses. I got my delicious massage today! I got an awesome prayer group going (in multiple locations!!!), my mommy came to see me today! It's been a wonderful day!
I feel at peace, calm and strong. I know the Lord is with me and will protect me. I know he is working through my talented medical team to keep me safe and healthy. I really am not worried about anything right now. Of course, who knows how I'll feel tomorrow, but today is GOOD!
Lots of love, lots of tears (but happy ones!) and I have faith that Jesus believes in me and has plans that I have no way to understand or know! I just need to be me!

ReplyDeleteI'm not sure how to start this comment except by saying I wish I could give you a hug and a hello in person. I've always thought about you guys and when Joey told me about everything you and your family are going thru, I couldn't believe it. Anthony's Nina has breast cancer about to finish her chemo and move onto radiation. She takes care of Denae Anthony and my new baby Chloe. I can't help but ask why you two? You both are very caring, generous, and loving women. I had to show Denae the pic where she squeezed in with you guys to remind her she has met you guys before lol. I have to remind her she has a lot of family everywhere and got to spend a few months with you guys when she was younger in TX...Your girls are so beautiful and big!! Well I admire your strength and pray God blesses you with many more reasons to smile and be happy about. You, David and the girls are in our thoughts and prayers.
